The crack detection test on bearings steel lining is undertaken by our experienced technicians. Again, the higher hardness on the steel lining of white metal Babbitt bearing is not desirable. The hard spots are removed in order to ensure strong bonding between the Babbitt white metal and the steel lining.
- As mentioned above, the babbitting of white metal is done by centrifugal process.
- Machining of bearings is done on latest CNC equipments in order to ensure maintenance of all critical parameters and tolerances of white metal bearings.
